Eric Lyons Memorial Scholarship Donation

The Eric Lyons Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $1,000 to a Coral Academy student attending a university. The more donations received will allow us to award more scholarships.  

Read below for information about Eric Lyons and his passions from one of our Coral teachers.   
Eric Lyons was a son, friend, and student to so many people in our Coral family. He started at the Tamarus Campus in Kindergarten and would have graduated this year 2023. He is missed everyday by those he was close to. He was very anti-bullying and defended his friends fiercely. He loved documentaries about history, Science, Disney, and especially Star Wars. Eric had huge dreams for his future and studied until he absolutely no longer was able. He never gave up and I was proud to witness his journey as a teacher and as a friend. I believe raising money to give two seniors a scholarship this year in his honor is a fitting tribute to this young man.
